BIOGRAPHY
Dr. TEO Wei-Peng
ABOUT HIM

I am a highly experienced academic and researcher, with over 10 years of research and teaching in the higher education sector in Singapore and Australia. My research interests lie in understanding the mechanisms of neuroplasticity and its implications for brain health as we age. My research usese an array of portable neuroimaging and neurostimulation techniques, such as fNIRS, tDCS and TMS to understand brain adaptations associated with lifestyle behaviours. I have published close to 100 peer-reviewed journals papers and have been awarded close to SGD$3million in research funding as a principal investigator. I am currently the Head of the Motor Behavior Laboratory and the Assistant Director for the Science of Learning in Education Research Centre (SoLEC) within the National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
