Professor Neumann completed a PhD in Psychology at The University of Queensland and a post-doctoral fellowship at The University of Western Australia before joining Griffith University where he is currently the Head, School of Applied Psychology. He has an outstanding career track record in research with over 200 publications and appears in lists of the top scientists in their field. Professor Neumann seeks to understand the brain processes that influence learning and performance, with applications to physical and mental health and education. His research has revealed the interplay between physiological processes and behaviour and how brief interventions can improve the peoples lives. He also has an interest in the application of new technologies in these approaches.
